2005 Kia Optima LX fuel tank capacity & MPG

I just bought a 2005 Kia Optima LX. Automatic, 2.4 4-cylinder. Does anybody know how big the fuel tank is? (how many gallons it holds). also whats the MPG or miles for a full tank u get from the car? Any input is helpful.

We have a 06.5 with the 2.4 & auto. I gets mid 30s highway with no problem. Tank is about 13 gal. Would think yours is similar in size.

Thanks for the response. According to the research I been doing online, looks like both of our cars have a 17.2 gallon tank. Is that correct? and how many miles do you get from a full tank of gas before the light comes on?

Wife drives it all the time and she's not one to let the tank get very low. Just looked at my owners manual and it looks like ours is a 16.4 gal tank and the light will activate with around 2 gal. left.
