My 1995 4 cylinder S-10 has its service light come on. Following my manual I have read the trouble code(s) and find only 13. The book says this means O2 Sensor Open Circuit. Does this mean that the sensor needs to be replaced? Thanks!

4.3 engine?
Code 13 is open sensor circuit.
Wiring or bad sensor or heater circuit if the heated sensor.
Also check fuse if it has one.

Hi and thanks. It is a 4 cylinder and I believe this makes it a 2.2L engine. The O2 sensor has a single wire so I do no think it can be a heated model. When you speak of a fuse, would this be in the fuse block on in-line?

Cheers!

Single wire 02 sensor has no heater or fuse.
You can check voltage output with a good volt meter or I would just replace it.
