1989 325i - when it is colder than 30 degrees it starts right up and runs for about 2-3 seconds, @ 1,200RPMs and runs smooth - then it dies. It will do this several times, and will only stay running if you pump the gas pedal and keep the RPMs at about 1,500-2,000 RPMs. At the same time the engine dies - the Check Engine light comes on, yet it does not leave a code. Fuel pressure is correct, new fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, plugs, coil, temp sensor checks out as well. I even changed the computer - same thing. Any ideas?

I have found a Code 1262. I pulled the idle air value, cleaned it and checked it. The manual says it should be ABOUT 40 ohms, and 20 ohms accross the terminals. Mine checked out at 45.3 ohms, and 23.3 & 21.6 ohms. Is that a bad reading or good? - or is it that about 40 ohms?
