my car sometimes will not start when it's warm, once it cools it will start, also you can jump it and it will start even though it cranks fast and has full charge on the battery. Does anyone know why it does this, I thought the crank sensor but now I'm not sure since I realized it will start with a jump when it is warm.

When it does finally start do you see any type of smoke from the exhaust,or does it run rough when it first starts?

no smoke and it runs like new and may go for a month or two before not starting again or it may do it the next day

Remove and clean your positive battery cables. The one closest to the battery powers all your electrical equipment. The top one goes to the starter only. When the connection becomes corroded you will not get a connection to the starter. By jumping you are sometimes moving the cables enough to make contact. This happened on my 94 Bonneville and eventually I had to replace both cables. No more problem. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks, I'll try that and let you know, don't want to put alot of money in repairs if it can be that simple. I never thought about the cables.
