1994 plymouth voyager 3.3 engine-won't startepmd106 01-22-2008, 04:09 PM :runaround: Will not start, engine is turning over, I think that it's not getting any fuel. If anyone has any information on how to take the fuel pump off and install it, also if there could be other possible problems causing it not to start, please send any information.thank you booby31360 01-23-2008, 10:44 PM First check and see that the fuel pump is working.Have someone open the gas cap and listen with their ear by the opening while you turn the key to the on position. You should hear a whirring noise for about 5 seconds. If there is no sound then the pump is probably shot. tempfixit 01-24-2008, 12:20 AM Fuel pump testing procedure: http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/10/c6/09/0900823d8010c609/repairInfoPages.htm Is there spark? Also you can try spraying carb cleaner into throttle body to see if engine will try to start. Try tapping on the gas tank with a rubber mallet sometimes this will free up a frozen fuel pump, if pump works after tapping replace pump. Check fuses and relays for fuel pump. Is check engine light on? Check for codes by turning ignition switch on/off, on/off, and on without starting engine check engine light will (EXAMPLE) flash, pause flash, flash = code 12.
