1/4 mile timesCaribbean NISMO 10-14-2001, 08:30 AM Hi Guys, I finally got my Primera on OCT 1st ,yesterday at the local drag strip they had the timing system set up for anyone wanting to see what times their ride would do. I took the oportunity to go see what my P11 in bone stock form was capable of. Imade two passes, on the first run i was matched against a 2000 Tiburon with aftermarket Intake & exhaust . As the lights changed i launched at about 3000RPM and boy was i surprised when i looked across on the next lane i was pulling away from him, at the end i was about one and ahalf car lengths in front. I was even more surprised when i collected my time slip (see attached) I clocked a winning 16.445 at 82.87 MPH to his 16.495. The next pass saw me unevenly matched with a 14Second 240Z on nitrous.I had no delusions about getting the better of the Z my only thought was to try and improve my times .When i collected my slip i was pleasantly surprised once again to learn that i had posted a time of 16.326. I have read many times about the lack of power about our SR20 powered rides sure we could do with more power but low 16 second times from a 2,600lb stocker with an inexperienced driver at the wheel is not too bad. I know the U.S version of the P11 is about 250lbs heavier than my Japan spec Primera. I intend to upgrade with hotshot headers and CAI next but first i have to change the factory 15"wheels to more pleasing 17"rooling stock. :smoker2: Caribbean NISMO 10-14-2001, 08:34 AM Forgive me ,i do not know how to attach more than one image to a post Here is the other time slip Caribbean NISMO 10-14-2001, 08:38 AM Here is a pic my low 16 second stocker. Please no comments about the wheels i know that they have to be changed . Caribbean NISMO 10-14-2001, 08:50 AM Opps i posted the same time slips twice here is the second run RCer 10-14-2001, 12:13 PM Hey, congrats on your car, and your times. Looks like you got a supped up car on the looks side. I just installed the same lights your car has, with HIDs. Love those lights. jprimera 10-14-2001, 02:21 PM hi good times! ,but you have a low mph? G-Forces 10-14-2001, 03:22 PM But your 60 foot times are amazing! You wern't staging with your back wheels were ya? ;) Caribbean NISMO 10-14-2001, 06:44 PM I am thinking of ordering the Hotshot header and CAI .When you were at that stage of your mods did you feel any diference in low end torque or can i only expect more performance on the high end. What about JW S3 cams are they worth the money. In response to your thread The timing system was not capturing 60 ft times on the left lane G-Forces 10-14-2001, 07:49 PM Originally posted by Caribbean NISMO I am thinking of ordering the Hotshot header and CAI .When you were at that stage of your mods did you feel any diference in low end torque or can i only expect more performance on the high end. What about JW S3 cams are they worth the money. You shouldn't lose any low end torque with those mods but you will gain more high end hp. The S3 cams are WAY worth the money. :) nismo414 10-15-2001, 07:07 PM Yea man that time not bad for a JUUUUIICCE SHHHHHOOTA Like you was spraying some juice awha. hhahhahahah G-Forces 10-15-2001, 08:57 PM Say wa?  JustinP10 10-16-2001, 02:55 AM Originally posted by nismo414 Yea man that time not bad for a JUUUUIICCE SHHHHHOOTA Like you was spraying some juice awha. hhahhahahah UH OH! Was someone watching the Fast and the Furious? :D Caribbean NISMO 10-16-2001, 09:12 AM I thought the term stock would be understood as such and not interpreted as on the juice:rolleyes: JustinP10 10-16-2001, 07:20 PM I know what you meant. I've always thought of stock as umm... stock :D And the times are not bad at all for a stock G20. It's too bad the timing system didn't record some of the times (60fts in particular). But that's ok, I have timeslips with missing stuff too, it happens. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
