Rear Pinion BearingSteveCooke101 01-19-2008, 11:57 PM Due to an M.V.I i was told to replace my rear pinion bearing. i took the driveshaft apart and the rear pinion oil seal off. now i am having difficulty removing the bearing itself. :banghead: Any ideas or suggestions? thanks! troy1 01-21-2008, 02:18 PM They usally are a tight fit. Replacing one is a waste of time there are two bearings on the pinion shaft. If that bearing is bad others usally are too. SteveCooke101 01-23-2008, 09:07 AM yeah i figured i my as well do both while i have it apart. Do i have to punch them out from the inside of the dif or will they come out through the drive shaft side? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
