How difficult is it to replace the power mirror on the passenger side door? Do I need any special tools? Does the door panel have to come off? If so, how?

Think yours are the same as mine. I have an 01. No door panel should come off. There are 2 plastic panels/covers that need to come off. There is one right under the mirror housing - a small round one, that is the bottom one. And the larger plastic panel on the top side, pop them both off and remove the 3 nuts, then after that the electrical connector, and swap it out, install with connecting the elec. plug first, then the nuts, and then put the covers back on.

When I search for parts the door mirrors are grouped 1996-2000 and 2001-2003, so your 2001 is slightly different but I will see if I can get off the panels you mentioned. Thanks and any other advice is welcome.

Does anyone have any info for good replacement mirrors for 2000 T&C passenger side? As queried, how does one remove and install?
