What do people think in about the new Tata Nano (http://www.cartradeindia.com/news/tata-nano-1-lakh-rupee-car-43.html), which is becoming enormous popular in India. Will the car hit the streets in the US and Europe as well?

not sure about the safety and everything but if everything goes find.. then i think it will surely be famous world wide.. not just in the US

Not a snowball's chance in hell, sorry. At least not anything like it is now. Driving in India is a lot different than it is in the States. The Nano just couldn't handle driving on the highway. It would have to a much more powerful and much safer, which would change the car so much it would just lost its identity. Also, I don't see any clues that Tata is coming to the US at all. Our restrictions on cars are so complicated that a lot of companies won't deal with us at all so they don't have to concern themselves with our tedious requirements.
