I have been looking for a sleeve repair for the front crank seal. Has anyone found one for a 2.2L I4? I think my crank has a grove in it and want to put a repair sleeve on it before I replace the crank seal again.SteveB

Well, I'll be. I did look there the other day and didn't see it but is sure is there now! Thanks for prompting me to have a second look. I've got oil coming from the passenger side and want to replace all the seals (for the 2nd time) and just suspect its the crank. I remember, when I replaced the seal a while back, there was a groove worn in the crank. Thanks again. SteveB

i've gotten other repair sleeves there.

The brand I have used before I believe was called speedi-sleeve. I've also found you can often get them at bearing supply houses should you have one nearby.
