below 45 degrees, will start but will not stay running, above 60 degress, runs ok, cked wiring, alt, coil, fuel pump, filter, replaced shut off relay, code reader says ok, "got an tips" ???????

My first guess would be a sticking idle air control valve. My second would be a bad or disconnected nlet air temp sensor - which might be located on the air filter housing.

Also check the coolant temp sensor, if that is bad it might not set a code, but would cause the symptoms you are having.

By the way, im scrapping out an 89 with the 2.2, if there is anything you need for yours, let me know, I will sell it to you cheap.
