I have a 85 gmc 1/2 ton sierra classic 1500series truck the problem I have is the front passenger side brake caliper sticks I have taking the wheel off and cleaned with brake cleaner seemed o.k for about a week then started sticking again these are disc brakes can someone lead me in the right direction on how to fix this without going to a shop any help greatly appreciated

Open the bleeder when this happens again, if the caliper releases the hose is restricted.

Brake calipers are cheap now, replace it. Also look at replacing the hoses, your truck is old enough that they are probably shot as max said.
