Souping up the old 4.0 few questions..

Ok i am putting in a shelby series 1 aurora 4.0 as my new platform to my new project car, my 97 aurora.

I know they made a very select few of these motors supercharged and i cant seem to get my hands on a supercharger...

so... if anyone out there knows where i can find one, that would be excellent

OTHERWISE i am looking to turbo this motor, anywhere i can find a custom turbo kit?

Any help or suggestions would be great!!!

I know gmpartsdirect.com offers a complete supercharged Northstar V8, I'm not sure if the supercharger can be purchased separately but it may be worth checking out. Good luck!

Someone on craigslist had Shelby 4.0 motors for sale and indicated the horsepower rating was 340. Do you happen to know what the differences are between the stock and Shelby motors? I'm thinking about making a switch myself. Thanks

I'll post spec differences and everything as i start the swap completely and post pics on any mod that may be necessary to help aid others who want an extra 70 hp out of there 2ton contraption!
