I dunno, a quick search did not come up with a kit, but if you have the time you can make a custom one... Get a carburated intake manifold, new fuel injector system...oh damn this is getting pretty deep, pretty fast.

I'll leave you at that. just curious, why would you want carburated, besides the awesome smell?

Do not do it for a couple of reasons. It will run cold blooded and start hard pumping the gas pedal a lot.I knowsome that had it done a 1991 with a 350 during a rebuild and ran cold blooded which started hard

interesting article.....
but by the sounds of it i can't use the block w/older style sbc heads, intake, distributor, mounts, brackets, etc.
i may look for an older engine and maybe sell the newer one.

None of those parts will interchange between a GENI and GENII+ small-block anyway.

Not to mention your 04 is electric throttle body. you will have to replace the CPU. or get it reflashed.

actually there's a kit, the one in the article cdsmally posted, for around $800, c/w intake for carb, and msd box to run coils. i kinda brushed it off at first, but actually the more i think about it, the price isn't that bad. claims around 320hp, and boasts 410hp w/their recomended cam an carb. i'd like to find an article that explains what else you need/how to install these engines. i have the wiring harness etc. since i'd be looking at around 1500+ for a decent 350, i may have to put a little more consideration into this.

oops....when considering cost comparison,i forgot about the convertor that's needed to hook to the older trannys (th350, th400, 700r4) does anyone know where i can find one of those? thanks in advance.
