Our grand daughter has a 96 Hyundai Elantra. The cigarette lighter is rusty & doesn't work-so she can not use the GPS map we got her for Christmas. How do i go about fixing/replaceing the lighter for her?

If you want to replace it, it should be fairly easy. Probably have to pull the front facia off the dash, then you will have easier access to it. The whole socket and everything for the lighter is fairly cheap. There are a couple different ones, so I'll need your VIN to make sure I can get you the correct one. List is either $27.93 or $22.42, then my discount of 25% or more. Email if you can, as I hardly have time to check this forum much anymore. Email is in my sig.
