Vent leaks

I have a 1993 jeep wrangler. My problem is rain water is coming in from the lower vents on to the drivers and passengers feet. What can the problem be? Is something clogged so it's not draining properly? Please help.

open your hood and look for a rubber tube hanging down under where the vent on the cowl is. there is a metal clamp on the end. open it and see if there are any leaves or whatever stuck inside. i put some screen material under my vent cover to help keep junk out of there. the leak also could just be one of those jeep quirks. happens on my 93 yj too. a good investment would be a set of husky floor mats. also remember to close your vent or turn off your heater whenever you aren't using it. leaving it open will lead to more water coming in.
lots of questions

if all else fails just Hurc the inside of the jeep. hey man its a jeep thing, others woulnt understand but it is not important. you can also try and take off the cowl screen and cleaning all the juk out of there like Seneb said. i have a 93 also and i have never had that prob... Good luck
