I know this sounds stupid but I ordered a users manual but has not arrived yet. It was raining yesterday and I tried pulling the window wiper control towards me to see if that was the washer but only the wipers turned on. Just wanted to make sure that was indeed how to turn on the washer or not before I try and see if the motor/pump is working.

Yes, pulling the control arm towards you, should activate the washer and wipers.

I was afraid of that. Just one more thing on my list.
in the mean time a squirt bottle will do the trick in a pinch!
