the only place I really know to buy and sell Mclaren F1 Memorobilia (die cast models, magazines, etc.) is Ebay.com... is there a more car enthusiast oriented auction site that I've just not come across?

sorry if this is not an approriate place to post, but since the things i'm interested in pertain to the F1, I couldn't think of a better place to ask.

If you have something really special you might try to contact one of the large auction houses like Bonhams or Christies as they often will include various memorabilia in their automotive auctions. Otherwise, Ebay is really the best bet for reaching a global audience.

Echoing Erik's post, my most recent purchase was off Ebay, and the seller had other items for sale of a larger nature that was going to go through Bonhams

What do you have? Any pictures? or what would you like, perhaps we can help you out?

PS - great Avatar pic! ;)

i've got a couple of CAR magazines with McLaren reviews in them and some Die Cast cars that I'd like maybe to pass on to someone else, but I'm always on the look out for that "gotta have it" piece... not entirely sure what that is though :) will know it when i find it.

the avatar is my cat sitting on the sofa... he's a little odd sometimes.

What diecasts do you have? I'm always trying to pick up the older Minichamps ones in 43 scale.

I was recently toying with the idea of sharing my entire 12,000+ F1 photo's / videos by sticking them on disc / memory stick(s) / website with Paypal access only; Do you think people would want them, and how much should I set them for?

I picked up the #38 and #39 1/18 Fina GTRs off Ebay, sort of. A seller in Germany had the presentation model up for bid and I asked if he had the other two and he did. So I bought them without going through Ebay and at a lower price since he avoided fees. Payment was done with XE instead of Paypal and it saved me and him some more money as well.

I've been looking for the presentation and #8 and #9 GTRs to finish my BMW Motorsport F1 diecasts. The #59 I have came through Ebay, though.
