oil pressure light on at idle

my 01 530i oil light flickers on at idle when warmed up.have new oil and filter.:frown:

Not a pro but you might check if your idle is set at the correct rpm for your car. If too low that may have something to do with it. worst senario (that I would want to think of) is a weak oil pump. Get a bentley's book and see if you want to try to fix it yourself. You will really begin to bond with your car.:wink:
