In-Progress

After:

theres a little orange peel, but they are MUCH better looking than before. I'm gonna let them cure for a few days then go at them with some rubbing/buffing compound to try and get them looking just like the tinted glass.

Looks great man. I need to paint my sail panels on the Stealth. I wonder how hard they are to get off.

That is a neat change. Makes the whole car look so much better. I need to do that to my 3k. Oh an on removing the Stealth Panels. Yea it is a pain. You need to remove the bottom part of the rear seat. Then remove the rear seat belts, Then the lower rear panels, then the window trims all the way to the front including the a pillers then you remove the seals and there are screws under that to remove those pieces then behind the rear window trims you have a series of 8mm nuts that are scattered through there. Then you have got to move the trim back and forth to get it unglued and then it pops off. See Easy as pie...lol.

Dupli-Color Acrylic Enamel from autozone...and rubbing alchohol to clean any wax off.

Holy crap!

I just know how to pick the projects huh.

EDIT: I just was thinking about it. What if I try to paint them while on the car. Is it still a PITA to get the white panel covering the sail panels off?

So anyways i just wanted to revisit this briefly and say that if you're going to do this, spring for REAL clearcoat. The rattle-can shit i used is peeling like a mofo...stupid Texas heat...:(
