528i 1998 BMW - I can't turn off the car. tried to disconnect the battery, no luck! ANy suggestions ?

Warning! Warning! Whatever you do don not unplug the battery to turn off the car, unless you are trying to bust your computer! It seem like the main rellay is stuck, is the car still running?
