Well after what I thought would be a routine fuel filter change on my 94 1ton 6.5 turbo diesel I cant get it started back. I tried several attempts of keeping the air vent on top of the filter open to no avail. Any ideas? Iam a newb when it comes to a diesel.

Well since no one else has replied I suppose I will answer myself in the hopes that in the future it will help some else. My problem turned out to be a bad lift pump. I did however get it back running with this pump still being bad.
