I was wondering what engines would easily swap into the Revell ITR engine bay? Any ideas? Also what color should I make the exterior? The interior will most likely be a mix of flat and gloss black to look like leather.

I've done one, finished it a few weeks ago.

I used a V6 twin turbo engine. I ordered the engine from a site. It fit pretty well. I had to cut a few things but if fit alright.

I was thinking of putting an engine from a Ferrari such as an F-40.

My idea was to complete the chassis of the ferrari and modify everything to fit it onto the ITR. Some day I hope I will do something similar to a Japanese car, model I mean.

P.S. Don't take any of my ideas. ;)

ive tried it and it wont work, u would have to extend the body an extra 5mm-10mm for it to fit, some one owuld have to have great skill for this! i think FOTW can do it!

Chevyeuro93, you wouldn't happen to have the instructions for this kit would you? If so, can you scan me the engine build up?

Not to be mean but lets look at the specs Citation-2.8L, ITR-1.8L, Citation V6, ITR-Inline 4, Citation-Turbo, ITR-N/A.

Now the ITR engine might be molded better than the Citation but it would be a better engine in real life and besides I can resin cast the Citation engine and use them for any curbside kit that I get and want to drop an engine it.

When I asked what makes a citation engine better than an itr engine, I didnt know what kind of engine the citation had. My question ws a real question and I didnt mean it sarcasticly.
