started on my new mustang gtx "7/eleven".. lucky i brought 2 kits ..transfars in one had gone yellowy so they shall be put aside.

sprayed 90% of the parts last night, now just doing all the diff colours for all the pipes, gauges, more pipes, pumps etc,

way to much detail .. lol gonna take me a while to just paint all the pipes in
no pics yet but will take same later once i get back

From what i have read online, basically it is a reskinned zakspeed capri. maybe that can help narrow down some interior pics.

Nice looking model you've got there;
If I may a suggestion to improve it even more, try sanding the line in the middle of the wheels, not only will that line dissapear, but the unnatural shinyness will also be gone.

Just a little tip, otherwise top-class model

This car is a Mustang GTO(IMSA) not a GTX. The later GTX was heavily modified version of the original Mustang that was the re skinned Zakspeed Capri. This car was an american Tube frame V8 powered(basically a Trans-Am car) with no connection to the Miller Mustangs or Zakspeed cars which ran 4 cylinder turbos. Nice work on the model, they can be a somewhat ill fitting and sometimes warped kit.

update, body, boot, hood sprayed, started on doing the transfars but it seems the age of them have made them break very easy, plus the red stripe around the car transfar is in 9 parts n they don't even match up once they put on, gotta sand the front 2 right off n paint them on Plus a lot of touching up to do on the breaks in the transfars can see me doing a full respray n ended up with out the red strip on the car

Their not just old,all the Revell and Monogram kits from that time had very brittle decals

latest update, had to scrap the body n pull out the spare which is now waiting for the paint to dry, full dark blue body as i can no longer have red strips, as they on the trashed body, so it have some transfars put on yet to do will take pic's later. then at some time not sure when, i gotta put on some clear coat as the paint i used was a matt base
