I found the prefilter that fits our AirCharger! It is a #25-0810. I got it from Summit Racing for $20.99 plus shipping. It is aboot 2" too long put you can cut that off with scissors! Only the nose won't have the foam over it. Maybe now I won't have to clean the filter so often!!!

Have you guys ever looked into seeing if a snorkel could be adapted to mate with your airchargers?

I saw some are being made now for the Xterra, and it might make you feel better crossing water. Not to mention you guys like toys. :D

I was thinking that a snorkel is a great way to get cool air to the K&N! I am not a fan of dunking the Xterra because of the low distributor! And it would add to the Looks Cool Factor! If you can find the Xterra specific snorkel Schlud, let me know!:)

There is now a Xterra specific snorkel on the market. I remember seeing it but now I can't find it. The only site that I haven't been able to hit is EOE (http://www.extreme4x4.com) Or did someone provide a link in the forms somewhere?

I think it was Rockhopper that's making them now for the Xterra and Frontier.

Nope, it's Airtec/TJM: Link to info (http://www.rockcrawler.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=33;t=000024)

AC has 2 listed on their site. They differ in how far forward the snorkle goes before passing into the engine bay.

Not sure, but aren't those the ones that Carlton had to heat-bend to fit (along with some other work?)?

I know we share many of the same body parts, but "made for the Frontier, but compliments the Xterra" kindof sounds sketchy.

I don't think Carlton's was designed for either the Xterra or Frontier, but was one that was close and adapted to fit the X. Kind of like what the guys were doing with ARB bumpers initially. When I was looking for parts to put on my Christmas list, I believe they only had one listed. I would guess the short one is the newer one that is supposedly made specifically for the Xterra.

Would the prefilter fit over the AirCharger for the Supercharged model of the AirCharger?
