Quality of Heller kits

Has any one here had any good or bad experences with heller kits? Do they have good fit and lots of detail or are they terrible? The reason i'm asking is i found a place that is offering 3 cool looking cars for less than 8 bucks each. They also come with paint, brush and glue so it sounds like a good deal to me.

You have to name the kit, because not all Heller kits are "tooled" by Heller, but many european companies (Airfix, Heller, Italeri, Protar, and Revell Germany) share tools.
If you expect every kit be Tamiya quality, you are not ready for Heller.
If you know how to prep the body regardless of kit manufacturer, Heller kit shouldn't be a problem.
But, really it depends on each kit. Which ones are they?

I completely agree with hiroaki,

depends of the kit you have but never expect tamiya quality.

As example the xsara need a lot of work, don't think to build it out of the box... but it s a nice kit to learn scratchbuilding.

Heller Quality that's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
