This GTR got smacked downSkylineUSA 02-06-2003, 01:35 PM flylwsi 02-06-2003, 02:33 PM 410hp? hmm... you could buy it for the motor though... stick it in a 240 or a z... that would be pretty sick... did they make an r33 v spec? SkylineUSA 02-06-2003, 02:49 PM You can get 1/2 cuts in better shape than that, for 1/2 the price. I would not touch it. Only thing is, that engine should be in pretty good shape coming from MotoRex. flylwsi 02-06-2003, 03:02 PM i looked again, and it didn't say anything about it coming from motorex, just a car recycler... hmm... SkylineUSA 02-06-2003, 03:08 PM Did you see the VIN plate..It came from MotoRex Gonthrax 02-06-2003, 04:56 PM I can't really think of any reason to buy it... Hmm, Motorex tested engine, that could be a selling point, but is it really worth 9k+? If your a mad scientist you could get the ATTESSA out of it and use it for your own evil designs  flylwsi 02-06-2003, 05:20 PM and the brakes, maybe wheels... some interior parts... you could get a little crazy with that... you could sell the tails on ebay and make a killing... Gonthrax 02-06-2003, 09:34 PM Originally posted by flylwsi you could sell the tails on ebay and make a killing... Yea... To some tosser prelude owner  Not trying to down 'ludes here, just I saw a blue prelude a while back on TV w/ NSX vents, R33 tails, R34 headlights. Ug R33 02-06-2003, 09:53 PM USD9999 is expensive for that one! A friend of mind bought a beautiful RB26 half cut over here recently with the engine worked by Top Secret - came with Top Secret ROM - for about USD5800. The e-bay price is way too high methink. Yea, thats a steal. 'specialy with the Top Secret ROM :D R33 02-06-2003, 10:10 PM Yeah, I think it is a steal too. He has a R33 GTR and he is now putting in the "new" engine while the other one is kept. Wish I had found that engine first!:p Pick 02-07-2003, 10:40 PM Can that car possibly be saved. How much do you guys think it would cost? SkylineUSA 02-08-2003, 01:44 AM Can that car possibly be saved. How much do you guys think it would cost? Yeah, it could be save, take the VIN plate, and all body tags and put it on another R33 GTR:) Too much damage, that car is toast. HellBent 02-08-2003, 07:30 AM Too bad... hopefully the driver made it out ok. Lucky it was right hand drive! Buyer beware on this puppy. I used to have a job in autobody/recycling long ago. We specialized in 5.0 mustangs. Anytime a car was hit hard enough to move the engine or tranny, the boss wouldn't buy it. Many times these cars have engine and tranny bearing damage. The engines will run, but after a few hundred or thousand miles a bearing will finally over-heat and wipe or spin. Looking at this car the tranny got hit hard enough to permanently displace the engine. (You can see how it is shifted a few degrees off center in the engine bay photo.) This may mean bad news for the entire driveline. Sometimes it's best to let a dead dog lie... Just my 2 cents. AL SkylineUSA 02-08-2003, 07:37 AM Not only that, it has been sitting for over a year. Driver was OK. Thanks for the advice, Hellbent. enjoi 02-10-2003, 07:33 AM poor baby! *rubs* dood, i think the driver would probably be dead if it wasnt right side driving! hehe DJPJ 02-10-2003, 08:00 AM hybridsol 02-10-2003, 08:05 AM Originally posted by DJPJ http://www.wreckedexotics.com/skyline/ http://www.wreckedexotics.com/skyline/skyline_040202_01.jpg :bloated: don't you ever do that again.;) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
