Little more info please. Do you want it racy? sporty? slammed? The tamiya skylines i've seen look to have a nice stance.

well this is not about the r34 but my current project r32, I looked at it and tried to lower it a little and have no clue on how to do it so I left it alone for now. Maybe someone could show me how for this kit. i looked at the faq but that was not too helpful.

about 2-3 mm would be fine. i just want to retain the front wheel steering. it would seem that the shock mounts need to be modified as well. for the rear, the suspension is kinda wierd. im thinking about shaving the mounts for the brakes on the lower side. but im not sure if this will work at all. i just wanted some opinions before putting it under the knife:)

As much as possible, lower a car only if it has double-wishbone suspension, it is easier to keep everything aligned. And also avoid 4WD, the front half-shafts just get in the way.

I lower my cars by just pushing the chassis far deep ito the body. Far deeper than the holes for the chassis underneth the car.:)

GT-R is 4WD.:) So, it's a bit more difficult, I guess.
Well, the rear is straight forward. Just modify the big suspension assembly (A7), so that you can glue the brake disks a little higher, like 2 mm for example.
The front needs a bit more work, and there are many different ways to do this.
I would leave the upper linkage and spring (A27, 28) as is, but modify the hubs (A8,9), then, add a spacer to the lower link.
But you can also cut 1 mm off from the upper link and 1 mm off from the hub.
