I thought I'd let people know about this (http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?TAM24261) new Tamiya kit I've just seen on the HLJ site. Sorry if it has been posted before.

Can someone tell me what sort of wheels will be included in this kit?
15 spokes?

It's a one-off production too, it'll be OOP in a year or so. ;) Like this one

OK, I'm going to order this kit but ... is there a correct Tamiya colour for the body? I was wondering if TS-51 Telefonica Blue was the one to go for.

I think Telefonica Blue is too dark and metallic, probably regular TS Blue, or at worst a custom mix of acrylics. :(

That's what it should be - dark and metallic.

I'm so disappointed that this is a 2001 car in the RS colours. Pretty much rules out the option to make a Markko Martin varsion.

That's what's worrying me. Not having an airbrush means mixing acrylics for the body colour isn't an option. It might mean a trip to Halfords to try and find a match in the auto-paints, but I'd much rather have had a suitable Tamiya colour :(

Hopefully HobbySearch will put the instructions on their site when they receive some stock.

I am more disappointed to see that it will come with the 5-spoke wheels rather than the 15-spokes it shows on the box-art.....
I can live with the 2001 car part.....but I love the Focus with the 15-spoke wheels.....

No. They blew all of this year's design budget by giving us the Ferrari Enzo.

You can probably order a spare set of the wheels which come with the latest Tamiya Peugeot 206 WRC. Or build the Gronholm version of the Pug and use the wheels for the Focus, that the option I'm gonna take.

Close. But Pug use 5 lugs, Ford - 4.

My thoughts exactly.....unless you can use Phil's trick to convert them?

I ordered one, I hope I'm not too late with my order.

About the 15 spoke wheels.

mediamix (http://asiapac.worldpay.com/cnb/shop/mediamixhobby?productID=811&op=catalogue-product_info-null&prodCategoryID=37&search=&listPos=) has some nice ones, but they're out of stock :(

What about these (http://asiapac.worldpay.com/cnb/shop/mediamixhobby?productID=234&op=catalogue-product_info-null&prodCategoryID=37&search=&listPos=), anyone tried them?
