pick one then explain your choice.:smoker2:

i tried to stick to the popular models all within comparable size and price range, i know i've excluded plenty. all are 03 models.

let's just stick to best overall value, or bang for the buck. your opinion is appreciated, but if you care to back your case with actual facts and figures, be my guest. :sun:

It comes down to the VW, Subaru and Mazda. The VW has excellent performance and comfort- but is too soggy in it's handling.

The Subaru is a good drivers car and good for the ski fields- but overall the Mazda is just simply bettr looking and a better drivers car.

i was goin to post the altima being the fastest straight line racer. but its just built too damn cheap. so i'll have to go with the accord coupe. now those are beauties, and they also have very very nice and sturdy interiors as well. only think i don't like is that they have this small ass Tach. how da hell are you suppose to race with thing? and its suppose to be designed to go faster then the older ones too but they still dont' care about the good'ol tach. hmmm

The Passat. While the handling is too soft, it looks elegant and sophisticated, is built like a tank and has decent straight line speed. Overall it's an A4 at a substantial discount

If you really know how to drive then you don't need a tach.

Besides none of the above cars were deisgned with racing in mind.
They are company cars and family transport.
Comfort, safety and economy come way before performance.

My vote has to go to the Nissan Altima, but only the 3.5L VQ.

The new Accord has a lot of nice features. Its has all the comforts of cars costing 10K+ more.

i'll give you value and performance. but quality? aside from the engine, the car is poorly manufactured with cheap materials inside and out.

and who's voting and not explaining your choice???:finger:
