thanks for all the cool comments...so who's next? ;)

the motor should be pushing at least 230-240hp, factory BB is rated at about 215 and i got a few goodies that should bump that number up. I will get it dynoed in a couple of weeks and i'll scan the result for you all to see.

What are you running for a battery? I have a box for the WestCo battery. It's really popular because it's so small. the box is about half the size of the Moroso box. I've been meaning to make a run of them. Hmmmm. Maybe this weekend. I gave my old one to a friend who was supposed to be in the SCC Ultimate Street Car Challenge, but his newly built, over the top, turbo engine had a compression problem. :(

Anyway, if you decide to free up some trunk space, it's 7x7x7.

kit as in the front bumper kit? that's actually a factory bumper with a WW lip, i had to cut the grill out and cut it bigger to get more air in....but mostly just for looks hehe...i think it looks pretty badass like that.
as for the intercooler, it's an HKS core with HKS endtanks. As for the piping, it has to be custom made.

Sorry, meant the turbo kit. But yeah, that's cool. Quite a few guys here in Az have done the same thing with the bumpers (i think a couple did so to prevent overheating in regular everyday driving  )
And with how many DETized SE-R's we have in Phoenix ( gonna be up over 10 real soon) it's almost common to see an se-r with a cutout bumper like yours driving down the street. Too bad they only have an SE-R and not the superior G20 :D

Sure it will. I will be proving that this month. I have to. :D

Actually, Jeremy Graas in NorCal passed the CA sniffer on the rolling dyno with a stock SR20DET in his P10. The DET doesn't have EGR, but the turbo helps control the emissions that the EGR controls (this directly from Rob Cadle of Garrett).

In any event, I will pass come hell or high water.

Hehe. Maybe. If you are running a boost controller, then you can probably put down more power. I have the extrude honing and Swain coating, as well as pulleys and flywheel. Then again, you have a bigger exhaust that will definitely make more power. I think we are probably close power wise and if you are running a boost controller, you should be putting down more than me.

Neither of us will win the power battle. Right now I think Jason Garrett Young has the most powerful G20 in The States at the moment, but if Jeremy Graas puts his DET with the F-Max stage II back in his car, he'll kick everyone's ass.

You know Jeremy G, we were in the same car club together(Creative Image), we used to tease him all the time of his classic being slow till the day he put in the DET then he kept leaving every one behind.

We had some awsome moments cruising to car shows in Arizona, Bakersfield, Nevada. I haven't seen him over 2 years but I bet he is up to his usual screwing around with the engines.

He is a very nice guy will help you out with anything you need!
He's always their to lend a hand!:)

I'll try to get it on the dyno soon. I have to do some tuning anyway in preparation for smogging the puppy. Now I just have to see if I can find a weekend to do it. Hmmmm.

This weekend (open, but the car needs some things first)
Next weekend (geekout)
Weekend 3 (travel to Dallas for Goddaugher's 1st birthday)
Weekend 4 (travel to San Antonio for a photo shoot)
Weekend 5 SCCA regional race
Weekend 6 Annual day after Thanksgiving geekout

That puts me into September. If the San Antonio thing falls through, I may do it then.

I know you were teasing Luke. I do think we have similar power levels, but you probably do have more, mainly due to the bigger GReddy exhaust. I have to figure out when I can get a 2.5" exhaust on the thing.

I think you probably have more power right now though.

Good luck dude!

I'm going to get mine tuned a week from Saturday. Vince McCurly(formerly of Courtesy Nissan) has a new show in Dallas and I'm going up for a visit. He has a Consult and will be helping me dial my car in. If we have time, we'll go to the dyno that day. I kind of think we won't though. Yes I will Jon. I won't have a lot of time while I'm there. My whole family will be there this weekend and it's really a weekend for family stuff (my Goddaughter's 1st birthday party). I will be at Vince's place early Saturday. We're going to throw the DET on the Consult. I need to get everything tuned right so I can get it smogged. :)

I also have to got to Grover's to check out some things with the race car. I'll probably look over the new seat and how Grover is setting it up since we'll be sharing the car for 6 hours during a race the weekend before Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll be getting my license after that weekend. Supposed to be a regional race and the enduro.

Anyway, sounds like early at Vince's would be the best time to meet up. My hope is to be back at my sister's by noon or 1:00.

the deal with the fsm is that its about 300 something to buy what happens now is that the dealers dont even use the fsm anymore they have cd's now that the whole books come on but i'm pretty sure its a few hundred for the printed up copy they told me this a while back when i was getting my remote windows put on and i needed to know how to hook it up to the factory alarm but i needed the schematics for the factory alarm only way i got was cuz i convinced one of the fellas at the shop to hook me up and let me see the diagram in the garage at the dealer but in the end i ended up dumping the factory alarm anyway due to its limitations for added options

p.s. they also told me to check somewhere online called alldata or something like that and they said you can get it there pretty cheap

yeh, right now i have the 99 DE ECU with factory harness....i have the engine check light on and i dont think the car is running as smooth as it can be. I bought a 93 DE ecu and harness so when i let JWT remap the ecu, it'll just be like DETing a B13 or somehting and the car should be running at optimal condition. that's the theory anyway and it should work..hopefully!
