Putting stock turbo into non-turbo Z?

Is putting a stock turbo into non-turbo Z possible? What else would i need to change? I know the n/a has higher compression then the turbo Z would the n/a with a turbo added to it have more power?

dude, unless you plan on pumping 120 octane on that car you gotta tone down the compression, but otherwise it is possible, but would have been cheaper just to go out and buy a turbo version, now you got alota work ahead of you!

yes its possible, but like dirk said, you might as well buy a twin turbo Z to begin with and not try to turbo the na cuase with a 10.5:1 you would blow something up if you didnt tone it down. On the other hand if you already have a Z and want to make a sleeper or really want to put a turbo motor in your car the price range varies, i know if a place that will do the entire conversion including parts and labor for 6k, so theres my two cents for what its worth

2 Much Work! If you did you could run like a beastly 2-4 lbs. of boost! You would need to change intake, fuel pump, ECU, etc. Just too much! That's my $0.03!
