The furnace took a nosedive last night. I'm waiting for the repairman to get here (its like waiting for the cable guy). So I lit up some candles and a space heater to keep the 10-degree temperatures outside from getting inside (thats fahrenheit). The cat decided to have a closer look at one of the candles. Needless to say I did not stop her in time and her eyebrows above her left eye singed down to about nothing. Screwball.

Ok. Not exactly the stuff of legends, but I thought it was a tad humorous.

Cat's whiskers and eyebrows are part of their sensory system and contain nerve endings. That probably really hurt the poor cat.....

Shes ok. Her wiskers are ok, just the eybrows got it. About 2/3 are gone. But she is not in pain. (otherwise I wouldn't have found any humor in it)

Mty kitten loves fire, but fortunally she stays away from it...

We have a candle in the center of our dining room table that sits atop a battery operated "waterfall" type of thingy... anyways, when the water is running, my kitten Sophie loves to drink the water, and has singed the hell out of her whiskers above her eyes... it's pretty funny, because they curl up hahahaha.

That cat is crazy. She will jump to the top of an open door and TAKE A NAP ON TOP OF THE DOOR! She will also sit on the back of any chair, no matter how thin it is, and she can sleep like that.

She drinks out of the toilet.

She plays fetch for HOURS.

She will climb up your back to get a better view out of a window.

see i dont mind cats like that one but i hate cats that stay outside and run away.........or they just sit their and lick themselves......thats why i would rather have a dog...................
