Tail Lights Painting

What would be the best paint to use on the tail lights for my ITR, is there a special clear red and amber paint? thanks for any help :p

Leave them clear! (now i know within seconds im going to get flamed for typing that)

I saw this done in a magazine.
If you can find red reflective stickers, cut out circles and place them on the lights in the respective places. The result looks really good in the end. I'd put up pics, but can't scan, no scanner. Look for it in Scale Auto Enthusiast, October 2001 if you have access to back stock magazines.

that is good or u can use testors paint for tailights that is red and use a tooothe pick to make it a circle

Tamiya clear red, and ONLY tamiya clear red, it's the best stuff. But.. it's up to you. :)

Go get some Testors or Tamiya Translucent Paint. When i painted my ITR tail lights i just used brush on Translucent Red. I made my tail lights all crytal red even the back up lights.

I useTamiya Clear red and Clear Orange.....It's the best..uses it since my first model ~ Cheers!

Use a permanent marker! Red and orange ones come out clear! It works excellent!

thanks alot for the help ill proabaly go with the tamiya!! and i built 2 other ITR's and the tail tail lights are clear so i wanted to go for stock ones this time!!

like someone said before sharpie premanent markers. You just have to do it on the back of the lights so when u spray a clear coat it wont run.

Clear with that chrome ting on the back looks intense. Just make sure you get the Crystal clear clue
