1500skicker1_solo 01-23-2003, 12:16 PM My gf saw this 4th gen hatch for sale and wrote down the info for me. Civic hatch 1500S, needs clutch, has parts. $500. I went and looked at it, it seems to be in "alright" condition. But I'm wondering, what is the 1500S? 1PhatCX 01-23-2003, 12:18 PM the only thing i can think of is the cc, the stock motor is 1500 cc (really its like 1493 but they rounded i guess) gunnmen01 01-23-2003, 12:52 PM 1500 would be the cc's, its 1493 cc, but they do round up. I'm just assuming. Probaly some one that doesnt know for sure what thier selling ??? gunnmen01 GTA 01-23-2003, 01:05 PM i've seen the S model in 3rd gens....i think it was a 1500 S that i've seen crxlvr 01-23-2003, 02:54 PM its a regular DX ci5ic 01-23-2003, 04:15 PM Yes, 1500cc = 1.5L So it's a D15 engine. Not sure about the "S" though... FourthGenHatch 01-23-2003, 04:16 PM Thats no 4th gen, S was used on old old Civics. darolh 01-23-2003, 04:50 PM The 1500S is an older body style. Not a 4G. 91EF3ZC 01-23-2003, 05:36 PM Originally posted by kicker1_solo My gf saw this 4th gen hatch for sale and wrote down the info for me. Civic hatch 1500S, needs clutch, has parts. $500. The 1500S is 84-85 a 1.5 carburated motor. 86-87 started the 1.6 Si(sport injection) fuel injected models. I owned one not too long ago. It was a really good reliable car. If you are buying for a winter car or a second car it is good for that. If you are looking for a car to hook up, not really a good choice.(my opinion) There are jdm motors for it, eibach makes springs, you can hook it up, it's up to you. slammed89civic 01-23-2003, 05:43 PM kicker1_solo 01-23-2003, 08:21 PM Originally posted by gunnmen01 Probaly some one that doesnt know for sure what thier selling ??? gunnmen01 No, it actually said that on the car.
