Lower insurance rateswoossh 01-21-2003, 03:55 PM Here's a no brainer. We just raised our deductable to $1000. We saved almost 50% on our rate (from $642 to $324, six months). We will take the difference we would have paid and put it into reserve for the deductable, if we should need it. It should take about 12 months to have our deductable made up. That is coverage for 2 Z's, a '92 N/A and '91 T/T. There is a gamble that we may need it sooner, but at 50% we are willing to try it. Ask your agent what the difference would be in your case. :D Me  Agent Gradyman25 01-21-2003, 10:48 PM good idea untill you wreck your car in a month or two:( woossh 01-22-2003, 10:08 AM In that event they will not renew you anyway and then you can see some really high rates, like same as a DWI. That's the gamble. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
