Well at long last its finished....i know there are a few who have been waiting to finally see this finished....so i look forward to your comments.

First of all...Thankyou to Thesyndicate who sent me the kit and said it was one of the best kits to be done. I had my doubts at first when i opened the box and saw the amount of work that it would need.

So after many hours of sanding, painting, test fitting etc etc i'm more then happy with the way it has turned out.

It needed plenty of work getting molding lines removed and alot of parts need to be test fitted to get a good finish.

Some things to watch out for is the fitting of the rear tailgate....needs plenty of sanding to fit correctly as the rear guards and bumper are not a good fit when they all start to go together. The guards needed to be "spread" to get the rear bumper fitting nicely.

The bottom side shirts can also be a problem to get sitting right too.

The rest of the kit has been built straight from the box...to lower this kit would need plenty of work and IMO it looks sweet just the way it is on the standard wheels and height....so it was not touched.

Kit was sprayed with Tamiya Bright Red.....in some of the photo's it almost has a Orange look to it.....seem's to depend on the light.

ps. Have you ever seen in a shop near you those self adhesive lenses - like I used as head-lamps on my Sonax racer. They would look good as fog lamps on your F-150 ;) Try and get them for future projects.

I've never seen that truck in real life yet;)

Theres 2 in Australia, maybe someone in New Zealand might import one of them, maybe. Looks great as usual, I can't believe that you said that those rims are the size of 18" rims but they still look so small on the F150. I think I'll try really hard to track done some Equip 19s to put on mine, I can't believe no-one in Australia sells them.

F150 Rims = 20mm
Equip Rims = 22mm

The bigger the better for newer cars, 13s look best on 60s lowriders. As you can tell I want to do my lightning as a "modern" lowrider therefore the want of the Equips.
