Hey, I am workin on my 1999 Tamiya Celica, and I was wondering if anyone else who has done this kit could post some pictures or links to their threads. I am starting to run low on ideas for it.

Check out Tazdev's excellent red one, made using one of Chris's SAS (http://www.scaleautostyle.com) bodykits.

NOPE the one I made was a 2000 model, the 1999 was the previous shape. (the model after the celica I used to own)

Hey supratuner... im not smokin hash, but i guess i was wrong about you.. and tadzev, according to tamiya, the one you built is a 1999. And its pretty nice.

I am trying to go for a racing look, a have 18" te37 's, and am making a custom exhaust, and i want to put a GT wing on, but i dont know whether to get the SAS kit, or the (aoshima i think)... Any opinions, or pics of both wings to compare... also price is kinda a factor.

they must have been released in late 1999 in Japan, here they weren't released until 2000

do you have a pic of the TE 37's ?

It's kinda late and my scanners pretty loud but in the morning i will scan some pics of the Te 37s . They are still unpainted though but are pretty HUGE, but because of their size i may upgrade the discs to something bigger.
