A new E30?rharris19 01-18-2003, 01:36 PM i am not sure if this is a fake, because i can't seem to find it when i search the site, but i am not sure why someone would fake this. If this actually happens, i will be one of the first ones to buy it. man i love the e30. The ip rather than www.cnn.com also kinda throws me off and makes me wonder. what do you all think? http://212.190.116.226/news.php?cI4Dj8jx romabimmer 01-18-2003, 01:46 PM it is fake, been out there for a couple of weeks now www.fakednews.com rharris19 01-18-2003, 01:55 PM thanks, i thoguht it was a fake, but damn that would be cool. the e30 m3 is one of the best track cars around today. romabimmer 01-18-2003, 02:01 PM Well there is the up coming 1 and 2 series with an M2. From what's been said it will be smaller than the 3, have a hi-reving 4 cylinder and a less complicated suspension. Sounds like an E30 to me;) rharris19 01-18-2003, 06:26 PM that sounds really cool. when are they comming out with it? on a side note, i saw a picture of a Z5 concept about a year ago and was wondering if you knew anything about it or know where some pictures are, because it looked really cool. i think they were talking of putting the 240 3.0l in it. romabimmer 01-18-2003, 06:47 PM 2004 model. BMW has kept the test cars well hidden a bunch of speculation on the real look, but I would suspect something like the CS1 concept but the hardtop is a hatch: http://stadt.heim.at/newyork/131192/car/03/pic/Bild008.jpg http://stadt.heim.at/newyork/131192/car/03/pic/Bild001.jpg It is expected that the entry-level engine will be an 80kW (107bhp) 1.6-litre unit. The engine range will probably also include a 1.8-litre version and the top of the range 1-series will feature a high-performance 2-litre power train with an output of 180kW (240bhp<---this sounds optimistic). Probably a dead concept. rharris19 01-18-2003, 06:54 PM damn, that thing was really aggressive looking. romabimmer 01-18-2003, 08:19 PM I guess it's not dead, found this: Z5 is to be a very light weight car with a 2.0L 240bhp 4 cylinder......(maybe the Z5 will actually be a roadster version of the 1 series.) "This is not a "big cubes" car, with only 2.2 litres capacity, but it produces 180 kW and will be almost as quick as the giant-killing M3, with 0-100 km/h in under 5.6 seconds and top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. This will make it extremely lithe and maneuverable, while an advanced version of the M3's SMG sequential gearbox will make it ultra-exciting to drive fast, cool as a cucumber in traffic. Ultra-competitive pricing" http://www.wheels24.co.za/Images/Photos/20020828074448Z5-a.jpg http://www.wheels24.co.za/Images/Photos/20020828074547Z5-b.jpg rharris19 01-18-2003, 08:32 PM Sweet, thanks. i knew it was too badass to die :D romabimmer 01-19-2003, 02:26 PM romabimmer 01-19-2003, 02:45 PM For the Z5 all I found was these 3 pictures. I'm not sure what's going on or if they are completely legit. Time will tell. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
