VW Golf Cabrio Mk1 - Finished PicsGuido 01-16-2003, 06:04 PM Hi guys, I've been working - in between the Merc's - on this Golf. I just made it because it was a special request for a friend of mine (he purchased this kit, ages ago) . This kit is a crappy one - from Mitsuwa Model or something - fits badly, has a seperate floorplan, doorpanels glued to body etc. There were even no decals for the dials. Furthermore, the paintjob didn't turned out the way I wanted it, but I showed it to my friend and he is very happy with it, so I'm happy :) Cheers, Guido http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/599229golfcabrio-1.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/385459golfcabrio-2.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/770886golfcabrio-6.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/724220golfcabrio-7.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/903660golfcabrio-8.jpg flyonthewall 01-16-2003, 06:21 PM think you done a cracking job there old boy! Like the drybrushing to the roof cover. Thanks a lot guys for the comments, the roof cover is about the only thing I did to improve it a bit. Jonno 01-17-2003, 07:57 AM It looks pretty good. I think you can pick up the mistakes better than we can (considering you made this kit... :p ) Guido 01-17-2003, 06:52 PM Originally posted by thug_9_6 ...
