Hi, I'm talking about European model..I don´t know if the data for other places are the same.

My question is...
The model S13 of the 200sx has 2 diferente fronts...one until 1991 that has two opens betwen the lights and the other 1991/1993 that has the front more sharped...
What I want to know is what I have to change to put the older front in the newer one?

It the UK 200SX site, and is more specific to the S13 and S14 shaped 200s :)

im only guessing, but im pretty sure i know what youre talking about, ive noticed in MAX POWER magazines :rolleyes: that they call s13 180sx's 200sx's. anyway, both the cars youre describing were produced during the same time peroid, the one youre describing as the "older" one, is called a slivia in its native market, and the "newer" one, a 180sx. i think they did keep producing the 180sx for like a year or 2 longer than the silvia up until 98'(along side the s14 silvia). its chassis i.d was rps13 (as opposed to s13) as it was slighly more popular. anyway to answer youre question, if youre going from pop model to fixed headlights you just need the parts, if youre going the other way, theres some extra wiring that needs to be done to get the head lights working. but apart from that it all bolts on, the radiator support is the same, aswell as everything else.

Thank for the advice, but what you're saying is another thing...the Silvia S13 has the same chassis of the 200sx S13, but the body is diferent...I'm talking really about the body of the 200sx S13 (180sx in Japan) that come out with two fronts...

well yeah wasnt exactly sure what you were getting at, anyway the top foto is from an earlier one, with a 1.8 (ca18det) the bottom from the later sr20 model, like you said :) if you could source the part, id say itd just be a straight swap. you could work out for sure i guess by seeing if after market front bars are different for each model, if the same one would fit either ealier or later, than itd be safe to say you could retro fit the old bar onto the newer car. there might also be differences in the ducting behind the bar aswell, say frm the openings in the bar to the radiator/intercooler ect, so you might want to source those parts aswell, if not youll probably find youll encounter over heating problems.

Unfortunatly...this models S13 with Left hand drive steering...here in Europe only came with CA18DET....the SR20DET only came in the S14...

Look...like I said my favourite is Silvia S13...you in there, Australia...you have those anywhere...here in Europe, there's none with the LHD steering...:(
