Does anyone know of a good kit, being from the UK we don't have these US car kits, I'm looking for a quality kit not a snap together toy kit

Thanks in advance

Yes there are 1968 covette kits, they are 2n1. They sell them in the US and I think they still do I built one when I was new to the hobby but wrecked it, don't ask. It also has pretty cool flame decals, BTW it's a revell kit. You can search e-bay, you'll probably find one for cheaper
than store price.

Try the Model Roundup. www.modelroundup.com

They have both in stock-the '68 2-in-one convertible (you need this kit for the small block hood), and the '69 coupe listed as a 429 but it's a 427. It's discontinued, but they have them in stock, also they have a current Baldwin Motion '69 that would give you the proper coupe body. These Revell kits are excellent. I've built the '68 convertible.

These rims don't come w/the kit. The kit has rally wheels like the one you want to build.

Here is the '69 Coupe.

To convert the body to a '68 you'll need to create back-up lamps under the rear bumpers and "french" a door lock button in each door. The door panels are also different between, use the ones in the convertible.
Ignore my horrificly undersized tires!!
