As for the question, I choose the G35 coupe without question. I got to sit in both the 350Z and the G35 at last month's autoshow in Philadelphia and I must say I absolutley *love* the G35 much more. The interior is much more luxorious and comfortable in addition to having 2 back seats. I also like the exterior alot better as well--the 350Z's front end isn't very appealing to me. Plus, the G35 isn't *that* far behind in performance numbers when compared to the Z. Infiniti all the way. lowridder11 02-06-2003, 04:38 PM i would choose the G35 but, that;s until the 350Z convertible comes out Ushtang 02-10-2003, 08:42 AM Wanted the 350z but went for the G35c becuase I have a kid and needed the back seat. lowridder11 02-10-2003, 11:05 AM that's why my dad is bent on buying a 4 seater even though he wants a sports car. BLU CIVIC 03-03-2003, 01:08 PM isn't the g35 basically a luxery version of the 350z:confused: lowridder11 03-03-2003, 03:01 PM no, the 350Z is a sports car and the G35 is not. G35 is heavier and not as much hp as the 350Z Supercub 03-03-2003, 07:38 PM I choose the G35. I like to walk aroumd on Sundays and check them out when the dealer is closed. Scott 99I30T Akisan2 03-03-2003, 09:01 PM It's question about fairlady vs. Skyline This has been always around in japan. I am a skyline person. So G35 is my lifetime pledge. I don't own one, but damn I will even If I turned 40 or 50. But Z is a nice car as well. Skyline has all around package with all the luxury stuff. People don't realize that skyline is actually a luxury car. It is a sports car but it came out as a 4 door model in the beginning. Z is pure sports car. People have their own things on this, but it's all up to your taste. Oh and the coupe g35 has about the same HP vs the Z, but I dunno about the torque. lowridder11 03-04-2003, 01:51 PM a problem with the skyline is that it's not 4 sale in the states GTi-VR6_A3 03-04-2003, 01:55 PM Originally posted by lowridder11 a problem with the skyline is that it's not 4 sale in the states correction. the skyline is for sale in the us under the guise of the g35 they are the same car... the GT-R is not for sale. but supposedly the V35 GT-R will be. as for me i chose neither kuz i want one of each... -GTi-VR6_A3 lowridder11 03-04-2003, 03:51 PM really, the G35 is skyline??? GTi-VR6_A3 03-04-2003, 03:56 PM Originally posted by lowridder11 really, the G35 is skyline??? yes. the common mistake among most people is that every skyline is a gt-r. not true. currently there is no gt-r for sale in japan. the nissan skyline is what we call the infiniti g35. wierd stuff huh??? then next gt-r will no longer have the skyline name and is planned for world release. check out the thread HERE (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t83084.html) people get off on the subject and go into detail. kinda like the nissan primera being called the infiniti g20 here in america -GTi-VR6_A3 Akisan2 03-04-2003, 05:19 PM Thanks for the correction. yes, and skyline does not mean all GTR. Only few lucky ones can have GTR series...just like porche GT, turbo...like that. Skyline like I said is meant to be a luxury sports car. G35 is infact a skyline, a true skyline. GTR as being such an awsome car, it wasn't the original skyline. As for me, skyline always have had a place in my heart. I am japanese and I grew up with my dad driving the 1991 GT-ST skyline. I fell in love instantly. almost 13 years passed and I still am not disappointed. :) GTi-VR6_A3 03-04-2003, 11:10 PM Originally posted by Akisan2 Thanks for the correction. yes, and skyline does not mean all GTR. After looking at both at the Atlanta auto show I'm definitely leaning towards the g35. Similiar price, similiar performance numbers, similiar looks. If I'm going to get an auto now I might as well make it a 4-seater since we have a 10-month old. Maybe I'll get the 350 convertible in 4 years or so.
