The company will produce them once we get in 10 pre-orders. There are 8 pre-orders now. I am very frustrated with not being able to see my gauges and $70 for a new face is well worth it (besides, the speeding ticket for not seeing my gauge will cost me more than the new gauge). http://www.streetracerparts.com/reverse_style.htm DNA GRL Schludwiller 04-02-2003, 10:02 PM Yup. Another "upgrade" by Nissan trying to give a new look to the truck. I'm biased, but I still think they had it right with the 2000-1's. The more Nissan fiddles with it the worse it seems to get. (except for maybe the extra 10hp stock, but that can be done aftermarket). rrdstarr 04-02-2003, 10:13 PM Originally posted by Schludwiller Yup. I installed a new head unit, but now my dash lighting doesn't light up. I think I have a wire unhooked, but I don't know which wire runs the dash lights. By dash lights, I mean the gauge lights. KritterMan 11-03-2003, 01:17 AM I recently purchased and installed the reverse indiglo gauge kit from S/R Motorsports. They look great, except the "SET", "CRUISE" and seatbelt lights do not line up correctly. They're not even close. I own a 2003 Xterra and the kit is advertised for the 2002 and 2003. S/R was quick to answer my pre-sales questions, but now that I have purchased and installed the kit, they are not answering my e-mails regarding the flaws. It's now been at least a week since I've notified them of the problem. This wouldn't have been a big deal if the kit didn't cost close to $100 bones after shipping....etc. Anyway....FYI. I've requested that S/R give me a full refund or fix the problem. I'll re-post as soon as I hear back from them. It's all form, screw function... KritterMan 11-04-2003, 07:56 PM Unfortunately, S/R Motorsports is one of the few that make the Indiglo Gauges for the XTerra. I can say the gauges do look nice aside from the annoyance :banghead: of the 3 notification lights. Everything else lines up perfectly. I did receive a reply from S/R today saying they will replace my jacked gauges for the corrected gauges when (and if) they are available. S/R also expects the 2004 model XTerras to have the same stencil as the 2003 so I'm hoping they'll fix the problem. Anyway, if you're interested in these gauges, call S/R beforehand @ 1-800-755-GLOW (4569) to make sure the problem is resolved. wedge555 01-26-2004, 05:59 PM Does anyone have a color guide for the wiring for a 2002 X? I'm new here, but maybe this will be of interest to some of you. I was looking for gauge faces for my '04, and came across this thread. I contacted S/R Motorsports about the misalignment problem, and long story short, they're now doing a fresh run of 03/04 compatible reverse indiglo gauges. Apparently they're fixing the misalignment problem by cutting out a window at the bottom of the tachometer for all the lights. Anyway, they offered a group discount if others were interested, so please let me know if you are. As for Kritterman, looks like you can finally get those gauges replaced, if you're still interested. diversetek 11-21-2004, 06:48 PM Would it be possible to just brighten the guage lighting? It's too dim for me to see in the night... I don't really care about the reverse indigo stuff, so If anyone knows how I can up the lighting for the guages for a 2002 nissan Xterra, please let me know, thanks!! bartchilders 03-14-2005, 11:51 AM I feel like the factory gauge faces are too dark as well. I bought the reverse-indiglo gauge faces for my '04 SE/SC (from ebay) - but I haven't installed them yet. It can't be *that* hard but I'm wary of breaking something. Can anyone post even a brief description of how to get to the instrument cluster? robdives 06-02-2008, 09:52 AM hey all, i found reverse indiglo dash inserts on ebay thru lokakech for my 1994 4 runner they were 7 dollars +20 s&h i didnt expect much for that price but they were just what i needed. i had to trim the make the hole in speedo larger to see the odometer and had to make new pins for needles not to bottom out. also i found using contact cement and paper clips as clamps worked well on the concave temp/fuel/volt/oil gauges. overall it was a good upgrade took about 3 hrs start to finish. rob Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
