Of the top of my head, the model shops around me have

Porsche GT1
Mercades CLK GT
Mitsubishi EVO 6 Rally car
Subaru Imprezza rally car
Ferrari 360
BMW Z3
VW New Beetle
Toyota Celica
Subaru WRX
Nissan Skyline Nismo LeMans
Toyota GT-One (Clear view)
Honda NSX Race Mobil 1
Jeep Cheroke
and quite a few others!

Anything there you fancy?

Hmm...how much do those 360's typically go for? :D

The hobby shop is closed today, but I can go buy that R5 Rally car tomorrow, and most likely send it out tomorrow too.

THe 360 is a shocking £24.99 here!

But I am sure we can work something out!

Heep

Wow, that's expensive...

What about the WRX? Also, do you have a pic of that Lemans Skyline?

Or I could just send over the model plus the extra cash....

They say the Ferrari kits are expensive because of licensing issues, but the price'll drop later. Note the numbered Ferrari label on the box. :D The Ferrari F1-2000 kit was really expensive, too, IIRC.

Did you guys see a 360 Modena Yellow Version is coming soon? ;)

I don't see the point! If I want a yellow one I'll get some yellow paint!

The WRX is about £18.99, the Skyline about £16. I'll think what else you could get as a cheque is nothing more than a pain in the Ass!

Yeah, so you could get me that WRX I guess, and I could get you 2 models at about £9.50 a model...some are more expensive though. I can look around tomorrow to see what else they have

Alright, checked the local shop, they don't have that much in stock but can order basically anything Tamiya. They have a couple R5 Rally cars, one of which I will pick up for you tomorrow, other than that, all I saw there was:

Celica
Focus WRC
Impreza (old) WRC
Porsche Boxster
R5 Turbo road car

and a couple others I can't think of. But like I said, he can get anything, quite quickly too, I assume.

Guiddy

Heep

let me think for a bit!!!
You still want the WRX yeah? It is a very simple kit!

Heep
10-01-2001, 05:46 PM
Yeah, the WRX is good. Remember that this guy can get almost anything too. Plus there's all the AMT kits and stuff....

Heep

OK, new proposition. If you don't like it or already bought the WRX then forget it...but here goes:

I buy just the R5 Rally car at about £9-10. You buy me anything from this list - Primer, sandpaper, Tamiya black (X-1) spray paint, Krystal Klear glue - totaling about the same, £9-10.

Sound good? Cause I'd rather spend just the 9 pounds instead of 18 and you probably would too....

Guiddy

Sounds pretty good to me!
I can't post spray cans, but the glue and a few other really helpful parts won't go amiss!

I propose

Krystal Clear Glue
Tamiya masking tape
Decal solution
And a few other little detail parts? Anything you would like to really finish a model off?

Heep
10-02-2001, 06:03 PM
That sounds good, how much do those come to?

Guiddy
10-03-2001, 02:14 AM
£8.50 for the solutions and tape, and then whatever for the odd bits of detail! I have them lying around!

I had to order another kit to get the £15 I needed to spend!
A Toyota Celica GT4! Oh well, I just had to! You all understand!:)

Sounds great!! The Rally car is just sitting here waiting for it's new loving caring owner :D

Judging by the box I'd say it has minilite wheels...pity my road car doesn't! :D

So I shouldn't be surprised if my rally car turns up without minilites and some strange road wheels instead!!!:D
