New Project: 300zx Conv.

I started my newest project last night.. It's a Tamiya 300zx Convertible... So far I got some of the Engine done and the Brakes. I've done many kits but this is the first that i painted more then the Body and Interior. So I guess you can say Im a newbie. Anyways, heres what i did so far: While progress continues, so will pictures:

Are you using tamiya X-11 for the shiny look on your engine?
Or is it alclad II ??

Just wondering, because it strook me how shiny the aluminium is on the engine ;-)

Alright, here's 2 more of my Z.. Fresh from the Paint Shop. I still have to compound/polish it. Hows the paint job?

Last one, BTW It looks fuzzy because of the Camera. Its silky smooth in real life. Will Compound/Polish make it shinier? Also, I used Plastikote Chrome Silver for my engine. Its a lot shinier and better looking in real life then the picture i took.

I guess no one likes it. :confused:

Progress: Waiting for Clear Coat for Body, More Primer for chassis, and wheels, so pretty much everything is at hault. I am getting ready to paint the interior though.

looks good. Have you put premier on the body? so the car is going to be in White color??? willing to see some pics with 19" rims on

Joeclaw: It's all primed and painted, i just have to spray some clear coat on it (Thanks Tonioseven!) and I'm either using 18" Stich Mesh III'S (Thanks Tonionseven again!) or Hoppin Hydro 20" Belajjios'... Im leaning toward the Belajjio's because I have another project planned that will look tight with the ones Tonionseven sold me...

I appreciate the compliment!:D I used a can of Dupli-Color interior color paint; I got it at an Auto Zone store when I got the Dupli-Color Mirage paint. The other color used was Testors Afrikaa Mustard heated in warm water.
