Ok, so your wondering what a "Civintegra" is right?
Well, take a look at the pics.....

Figure it out yet?? I'll give you guys the whole story later, I just wanted to make something different, not trying to be a wanna be car, honestly, I wouldn't do this to a real car, I just had to make something out of 2 ruined cars........

sweet, I've had that idea since I heard about the new civics coming out. I've been planning on doing the new civic coupe with ITR front end.
Yours looks awesome though, good job. :)

niiiice! wut did u use to put the 2 parts together?

Honoturtle
12-19-2002, 01:14 AM
Thanks for the comments guys.

Well first of all, the parts aren't glued together yet, they were just taped from the inside. The integras body is a bit wider than the civic, but it fits pretty well, still got to close the gap between the fenders and doors.

Well, now I got a lot of questions that I want you guys opinions on,
1) What color would you suggest for this type of car?

2) How should I make the rear lights?
- Keep the stock, but make two little lights in the middle to make it look similar to a Toyota Altezza.
- Put the integra rear lights on it.
- Put S14 rear lights on it.

3) Suggestions for a front bumper body kit, or leave it stock.

4) Don't mean to ask so much but, Rims?

BTW, I plan to basically shave everything in the future (1/4 moldings, rear licence plate, door handles, etc.) But I hope to finish my AE86 before I get too deep with this project.

Anyway, if you want to see more pics of some part, etc. shout out to me.

1) With this type of hybrid cars, there are a few colors that the public always use: IS300 Blue, Yellow, GunMetal
personally i'd use IS300 Blue

2) Neither of the choices u listed, ideally, putting the new C-Class's tail lights will look tite, but i dont think they hav that model yet? Altezzas are too played out, go with Integra tail lights

3) add the type R lower lip to it, and add diffusers under neath front and back with dual N1 commin out =D

4) Rims, 17" MEISTER S2 would be niiiice

*5) put one of those B18C5 engines into the engine bay, and when u take pix with it, put a mirror underneath and lights hitting it, and u've got urself a show car lyke the ones from Hot Import Nights hahaha

these are jus opinions =D

The integra front is too big for the civic. Maybe u could section the front and increase the rake?

scratch build a wide body kit for the civic:D

Have you got any top shots, or front shots?

And I like the 5-spoke rims that are in the outdoor shots.

interesting idea!:flash:
I never strike on such an idea!
which chassis you use? it looks no problem with wheelbase.
I think solid primary color will be suitable, like red,yellow,white...

Thanks for the comments guys,

Neige, not sure if you really know what i mean here's a pic,

To tell you the truth, I just drilled two holes today, just to see what it would look like, because If I do end up picking the ITR lights, then that part would have to be chopped off anyway.

hermanchauw, really, the front fits find, but I might consider what tazdev and magicman said about making a whole wide body kit.

thug96, I'll get those shots up

kunta, I'm using the civic chassis, did you know the wheelbase for the civic is slightly bigger? But it looks fine.

lownslow, haha, not sure on your question......

As for the B18, it does sound like a real cool idea, I'll put it into consideration, it would definatly make the car way better rather than a curbside.

Anyways, thanks again for the comments!:D

I think the front looks too big because it's white and the body's black. He could always lower it a couple milimeters and use homemade wheelspacers up front.

It looks good so far.

I'm assuming your talking about the JACCS Accord which is a curbside kit, so no H22.

The Jaccs Accord doesn't have an H22? Damn!, I'm crushed.

Oh wait, I DO remember reading about the JGTC Accords running F20's (De-stroked F22's)....is that's what's in te Jacc's Accord?

If it's just an F22, or a de-stroked F20, then just go with the B18. For added flare, be sure to make custom build 4-1 headers, and a cold air intake....using the "Metal tubing" thread on this page.

Yea, make it like the Mugen wings. Make it discreet. Maybe try my "Carbon Fiber" painting methold. Where you pain the part matt black, let it dry for a day, then stretch a pair of nylons over it and spray over it with matt-silver or grey. But you gotta old the nylons over the part for about a 1/2, until the pain semi-drys. Then wait another day, and eiter spray it with a couple coats of gloss, or a single coat of matt, clear coat.

Vegetta, the Accord comes with no engine at all (besides the detail seen from under the car), it's a curbside.

Here are some pics, it's going to get a diffuser(sp?)

I have a few suggestions...

1. paint it something like chrome yellow or maybe a darker silver

2. Those is300 taillight things look good.. make the original tail parts like a smoked altezza

3. some nice big wheels like an 18"

4. maybe ad some skirts all the way around

and... 5. Maybe thorw some subs and amps in the trunk and try to make it have a t top like the late model supras.

just some ideas, and it looks great so far.... cool idea

giordano
12-25-2002, 01:16 PM
that looks tight! nwayz, how did you make the skirts for it? that's great huh?!?!? well, thanks for giving me an idea... "civic front integra" convert it into a civic coupe?!??! think that would be easy!!! jus need to scratch build the rear section.

Paint it Ornage with White and Orange Interior. White on the outside of seats and orange middles. And Side interior panels, dash etc. white with orange scattered like on the Shifter and small stuff like that. and an orange and white sterring wheel.... TIGHT! I think i may paint my ITR's interior like this. :flash:

lowrider, nah...... I honestly hate when I see a damn convertable civic (any honda that didn't come with a convertable option). Why do they do that?

fullbloodchop, I wonder, Hey, it's has an Integra front end

hash man, sounds all good, I smoked the lights after I read this, and it looks awesome! Thanks for the suggestion!

camber, it all depends on what color I paint it!

Well, I'll get those pics up sooner of later!

I don't know what a "curbside" is...

But i do know that "real" S2000's have B20's.

B20 is a twin cam Vtec

F20 is a de-stroked F22. The F22 is the Vtec motor that comes with the Vtec Accords.

I'm pretty damn sure that's an S2000 engine which is listed as "F20C"......... If you can prove me wrong, then do so, I don't mind of I'm wrong, just trying to bring out the correct answer to this crisis. Honestly I'm down on knowlege about Honda engine numbers, cause I'm not really sure about F-22s, B-20s etc. Honda isn't really my favorite brand of cars ( :ylsuperGO TOYOTA, GO GO GO!!!! :ylsuper) but I still think they are "cool" cars! Just as long as your not too much into the "all-show-no-go-cars," I hate when I see those type of cars around! I mean, it's alright to have a bodykit, just make sure you change your own oil, and had changed something it there that will actually make it go faster, not just an exhaust system just for the sound.

Curbside- Model kit that has no engine detail besides the detail seen from the bottom.
