Welcome Jess (another lady;) )!
Tamiya have a nice Mica Blue TS-50 which gives great results, available from most model shops.
If real auto paint is what your after then car parts stores should stock them. Remember to use the appropriate primer as these paints will attack the plastic.
I used Renault Monaco Blue auto paint on this...

testors makes Saphire metallic blue and testors Boyd colors makes True Blue blue Pearl. the difference between the 2 is that the testors saphire is darker than true blue but is a metalic. true blue is a good shade of blue W/ pearl(looks metallic either way).
Tamiya makes blues too but dont know of any meatllics
Try Hobby Shops in your area for the color if not try the online shops in the FAQ

i just got some TAmiya metallic blue... BTW fly on the wall... What is the red on those rims... looks wierd?

tamiya also make a dark blue, Telofonica Blue which is TS-51, and they have a metallic blue in their spray range too......
I guess you could say it all comes down to what blue you want
