Hey, I was wondering if Tamiya's Paint Markers were any good? I think they'd be easy for doing 2 Tone Interiors and Small Details Etc.

Personally I like them, I have the chrome silver(X-11) one and am really happy with the results I have obtained with it.

If you want to do small details with it, I think you will be happy.

Ray - how big are the tips on the markers you have? Cos I recently picked one up and I reckon I won't be able to do small details.

I "pump" the paint out of the X11 marker and apply it with a tooth pick.

I think the x-11 marker paint is a great match for the chrome plating that comes with the Tamiya kits, just perfect for touching up the marks from the "tree" if you are in a hurry or the part is a little hidden.

Chaos,
You can use your Xacto/hobby knife to trim the tip of the pen to a better tip if you need, just be careful how much you trim away and also make sure to use a sharp blade.
I have also use the trick of getting the paint on the tip and then using a toothpick.
