I have a '95 240 SX SE. I took the car to my local Nissan dealer to have a new remote programmed. I was told by the dealer that they were having trouble programming the new remote. They told me that that they kept getting a no program error. They also noticed that the light in the dash for the security system wasn't working. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening to cause this problem?

funny that you posted about this. I am taking my car to the dealer tomorrow to get a new remote for my 95 SE. I thought the battery was just dead on the remote at first but that wasn't the case so I've got to get a new remote and have it programmed like you are having to do. Hopefully they can fix it and I dont get told the same thing. I'll post again after I get my car back and I'll let you know if they fixed it :cool:

well this isn't going to help you any but the dealer programed a new remote for me without a problem :o

OMG i have da same probs w/ mah remote i spent 5 buckson a battery and it didn't work so i guess i have da same probs as u... i have a 95 240sx ... do u know how much it costs?
